I myself embrace the joy of learning, and delight in sharing this with other people of all ages. I hold multiple degrees in criminal justice and education and my experiences in life have taught me that the learning process begins with developing critical thinking skills. I am a certified teacher of social studies for middle and high school, and have also pursued theater studies in New York City as well as other areas of employment in the private sector. This has helped me to understand that not all learning comes from books, and certain skills can only be honed in the highly competitive real world of work.My expertise and greatest interest is in working with students in the social sciences. That includes everything from history to politics, and economics to social and criminal justice. I approach the tutoring experience with the aim of helping the learner enhance their strengths while addressing their areas of weakness. I like to develop personal relationship with my students and often provide life advice as well. For me, tutoring is both rewarding and fulfilling. However, in my spare time I have multiple interests that include family, and physical fitness.
