In addition to subject material, I teach test- taking skills and study skills that encompass all of academia and will hopefully follow my students throughout their lives. In my graduate career, I was also a part of a grant-based program to improve learning of general chemistry for college students. My role in this program was to write, produce, and edit learning videos on different topics to introduce material and engage students, as well as teach them valuable problem-solving techniques. I think my teaching style is unique as I cater to every student's learning style, build academic confidence, and make learning fun. I work as a scientist at the Estee Lauder Companies applying all of these skills and my education and experience.

Hobbies
I enjoy staying in shape, reading, watching movies, listening to music, and playing violin. I've finished the Harry Potter, Twilight, Hunger Games, Divergent, The Maze Runner, and many others so you can say I'm a bit of a bookworm. I am a HUGE music fan, and I connect with my students a lot via music, providing a comfortable environment for learning. I have one dog and she is a big mush. One of my favorite shows on TV is Brooklyn nine nine. Last, but certainly not least, I love the color purple.
